Hi, I’m wondering how my daughter could access this team. She has been attending the Tuesday after school football club at Strade – is this the same group? She has not had any training or experience in football other than this, but she is interested in starting. Is the 560 Thursday group an established team or is it open to beginners?

Hi Mim.
If you print off the ‘Girl’s Sport STRADE Haf’ letter and ask her to return it to the office or me personally, that will be fine. Training is after school on Tuesdays until 4.30pm on the school fields. Friendly matches have been organised which are listed on the letter. We welcome all abilities and newcomers – we have capacity to run several teams which means everyone gets the chance to play.

thanks Matt, do you mean Thursdays not Tuesdays for Strade though because the late bus for Strade is on a Thursday?

Hi Mim.
On Thursdays, the following will be available; Touch Rugby, Football, Rounders, Tennis, Benchball/Dodgeball. These activities will be supervised but the emphasis will be on playing rather than coaching.
Tuesdays – we have a qualified football coach taking a girls only session. Unfortunately, this was the only night when she is available to coach.
